FOOD!! GLORIOUS FOOD!!
Today's celebration was a blast!! haha!! and it's still going on btw.. It's lunch and the food, oh wells, I'll get to that a little later..
It started out like any other working day, long, draggy and boring.. But since I've got the company of Shirley who sits beside me now, it's not as boring as the other days.. Shirley was telling me these stories about the old old woman who hums alot..
Shirley: You've surely heard that a lot of times now huh?? (referring to the humming)
Me: Yeah.. What's up with that?? Or her??
Shirley: She's like that lah.. There's something not right up there.. I remember first day i was at the photocopy machine and i heard it.. I turned and my heart stopped.. The person next to me said "don't worry.. She's human"
Me: yeah yeah!! I was at the toilet once and heard it.. Gosh, as soon as i was done i ran out.. How long has she been here anyways??
Shirley:(with that smirk) She's an antique already lah.. I don't know what she do.. She just sing and then go toilet then kacau ppl's things.. tsktsk..
Me: Oh.. No lah.. She's NLB's radio.. Prized possession you know.. Unique.. haha!!
Haha!! ok.. so that weird woman will remain weird till erm.. Forever?? haha!!
So then at 11 they told us to go outside cos celebration starting already.. Wah!! I tell you FUN!! Got the eversoscary lion dance which started throwing(more like spitting) cabbage and golden(choco) coins at us.. Then chai chee sec performances and games.. And i did the yu sheng thingy for the first time in my life (and totally learn that if you have not eaten that thing before, don't take a lot).. They made me say weird stuffs in chi but who cares.. It was FUN! But the music was oh so deafening though.. Hardly can hear anything after that.. Haha!!
So for lunch we were catered by SMILING ORCHID.. The food was FANTABULOUS!! like OMG!! The tempura especially.. The rice tasted a bit like pasta.. SO DELICIOUS!! I'd give it a 5/5 rating sei if i can!! haHA!!
